Advocare 24 Day Challenge = SUCCESS
I am pleased to announce that (in my opinion) the Advocare 24 Day Challenge was a total success! I ended the challenge on Thanksgiving Day of all days. But did well and rewarded myself with 1/2 piece of cheesecake that night! Overall I lost 7lbs and a total of 5 inches, with 2 of those inches being in my waist (YES)!
As a little summary, here is what I did during the challenge including what Advocare products I used:
- Challenge kit as sold; therefore the Herbal Cleanse and Max Phase
- ThermoPlus the last 7 days of the Challenge
- Cut out potatoes completely
- Strictly limited carbs to maybe twice / week and they were either whole wheat or Quinoa
- Had Meal Replacement Shakes for breakfast through the entire Challenge
- Enjoyed 2 Sparks per day
I DID NOT exercise really at all with exception of my new bathroom workout routine. You're interested aren't you? My bathroom workout routine is very simple. Every time you go to the restroom, try and remember to do 10 squats or 10 wall pushups. That's it! With the 24 Day Challenge you are supposed to drink a TON of water. So you run to the bathroom a lot. I'd keep a little tally in my planner at work. Some days I'd end up doing 60+ squats throughout the day. That was the extent of my working out during the challenge.
So now what happens... For me, I decided to continue on with some of the products a little while longer. I've chosen to take another 14 day supply of the MNS packets as well as continue with ThermoPlus. I've also added another one of Advocare's products called Catalyst. I'm told the combination of ThermoPlus and Catalyst should really give my weight loss goals a boost. I am for sure, keeping on with Spark. This energy drink does what coffee could not. It gives me energy, focus and more without a crash. I absolutely love Spark!! I'm also going to stick with the Meal Replacement Shakes for breakfast as they work perfectly for me in the morning. I can drink my shake while I get the kids breakfast made and everything else ready in the morning, which is hectic enough as it is.
I'm also throwing around the idea of becoming an Advocare advisor so I could enjoy better discounts on the products I know I will be continuing on with, even after I hit my goal. However I am still undecided on this aspect of Advocare. We will see!
